Program open only to currently enrolled University of Chicago undergraduates.

Important policy note: Students on a leave of absence from the College are ineligible for College-based research funding, as well as general undergraduate research advising from CCRF staff. 

Quad Undergraduate Research Conference Grants

The Quad Undergraduate Research Conference Grants support current undergraduates in the College engaged in scholarly research mentored by a faculty and/or other research mentor(s), specifically conference participation and travel if a student is attending to present a research poster or to give an oral presentation.

Eligible conferences: Occurring on or after July 28, 2026

Quad Undergraduate Research Conference Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Note: You must submit your application at least three weeks before your intended conference travel or participation.  

Notifications are distributed within one month after application submission.
